Santia is running under Windows 95, 98, NT, 2000, Millenium and XP. The demo version sets up automatically in few seconds. Nothing else is required. The work version needs to install MySQL Server. The How-to sheet for installation shows the way to follow. What is the database used by Santia ?
The work version of Santia is running with a MySQL database. MySQL is a reliable, popular, free of charge and open source database. What is the default installation directory of Santia ?
Santia is installed by default in the directory C:\Program Files\Santia. Is Santia working in networking ? What about a wifi network ?
Yes, see the How-to sheet for installation in order to install Santia in networking. The wifi network is not recommended for using Santia, because the transfer rate is slow and irregular. We recommend a cable network. Is it possible to export data, via e-mail for example ?
Yes, Santia generates a small data file for this use. How Santia protects the confidential data ?
Access rights through the screens are defined for each user. Moreover, the database can be protected by a password. May I use Santia free of charge, for any number of users and sites ?
